Frank Giunta

Product Engineer
 

Frank, in partnership with Ken, co-leads the product development of the TasteTro Spice System.  A Mechanical Engineer with a Masters in Product Development, Frank brings 19 years of engineering and technical design experience to TasteTro and is a part-owner in the company.

Frank originally began working for TasteTro through Kloop Studio, the industrial design and product development studio he is partnered with. In addition to his work with TasteTro & Kloop, Frank manages to hold down a day job leading a product engineering team at Trane, a world leader in the HVAC industry.  Prior to joining Trane, Frank spent

nine years with Harley-Davidson developing Softail motorcycles, ultimately becoming the technical lead for the Softail platform.  He previously spent 8 years working for a Tier 1 automotive supplier of truck frames and vehicle underbody structure, working on testing and finite element analysis.

Frank holds BS in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University and a MS in Product Development from Northwestern University. Outside work, he enjoys time with friends and family with good food and drink.  He is based in Wisconsin where he takes full advantage of the all too short Wisconsin grilling season.
