Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer

Carlos is the co-founder and head of finance for TasteTro. Carlos brings 13 years of financial advisory and operational finance expertise to TasteTro. As accomplished with the BBQ as he is with a spreadsheet, we love Carlos for his wicked steak rubs but appreciate him for his detailed planning & budgeting skills.

Carlos has spent his career in the finance financial services sector and working in senior financial roles of operating companies, including seven years spent with KPMG LLP Transaction Services, where he advised multinational and domestic companies, as well as private equity firms, on acquisitions and company analytics.

Carlos is a CFA charterholder and holds a finance degree from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. His boundless passion and energy in the kitchen experimenting with various flavours, cultural influences and culinary techniques ignites his appetite for creating a product that inspires people.
