Ken Hanna

Product Designer

Ken, in partnership with Frank, co-leads the product development of the TasteTro Spice System and is a part owner in the company. He is an award-winning designer with a Masters in Product Development and over a decade of related product design experience.

Ken started his own Product Development firm, Kloop Studio, in 2011, after relocating back to the Pacific Northwest from Wisconsin.  His clients include several multinational companies as well as smaller entrepreneurial ventures.   Prior to starting Kloop Studio, Ken spent 8 years with Kohler, most recently serving as the Lead Designer for the Global Faucets Division. At Kohler, Ken invented and designed the innovative Moxie Showerhead, winner of the 2013 IDEA Silver Award. He also led Kohler’s entry into working with glass, developing several stunning glass basins and an in-house glass manufacturing studio.

Creative & collaborative by nature, Ken has been instrumental in developing our counter-worthy design. Ken holds a MS in Product Design and Development from Northwestern University and B.Sc. in Industrial Design from Western Washington University. He is our resident mad scientist grill master, forever experimenting with new BBQ rub flavors.
